Parents/Guardians/Staff, The health and safety of our students, staff and community remains our primary priority. Therefore, please note the following key messages:

 ASD-N is working in consultation with the Department of Education and Early Childhood Development regarding the exclusion guidelines imposed by the Minister of Education on March 9th. We will continue to follow EECD’s direction going forward as we all deal with this ongoing COVID-19 situation.

The Minister of Education, Dominic Cardy, has put forward a requirement from the Department of Education and Early Childhood Development that all childrend, students, staff, volunteers and family members who have returned from international travel after March 8th to avoid all contact wtih any public school, early learning facility or District offices for fourteen days from the date of their return to NewBrunswick.  Also all international school related travel has been cancelled for the remainder of the school year.

Here is the exam schedule.  Review will be handing out when you return in January.  In the case of a snow day all of the exams will roll forward one day.

Heritage Fair 2019 took place this week at BLMS with our grade 9's. Pictured are some of the winners along with Flavien Babineau who along with Betty McLaughlin, Kevin Arseneau, Benoit Bourquie and Ashley Francis judged the projects this year. Many thanks as well to all of our sponsors; Kent Regional Service Commission, Minestream Milling, Main River Forestry, Bonnielm Farms, Southeastern Mutual Insurance, Village of Rexton, Moncton Area Milk Producers, Richibucto River Historical Society, Advance Savings Rexton. In total prizes were awarded in the amount of $500.

Half of the grade 9’s went to the Legislative Assembly and the art gallery in Fredericton today. The other half go next Wednesday. We did the tours and met the premier and saw the Dali.
