Friday, November 10th is a Professional Learning Day for staff, therefore there are no classes for students. Monday, November 13th all schools are closed in honour of Remembrance Day.

On Halloween we awarded our October-Above and Beyond students their recognition. These students were nominated by a staff member for going above and beyond what is expected of them and for making BLMS a better place. Congrats to our boys ball team. They are headed to provincials tomorrow in Caraquet to play Woodstock at 1pm in the semi-finals. Thanks to the coaches Dave Gaudet and Rod Wylie and to the parents for their support. We are very proud of the accomplishment as a first time team put together in September! Way to Go!

Grad Class of 2018...
The Josten's Ring Sales Rep will be at Bonar Law on Tuesday, Oct. 24 at noon.  They will have sample rings for you to look at as well as order forms, if a grad ring is something you would like to have.  Please remember there is no obligation for you to purchase a ring. Parents are welcome to come in as well!  Booklets of ring styles and options are available now from Ms. Conroy in room 206.

Orange Shirt Day September 30th. In recognition of this day, BLMS students and staff are asked to wear an orange shirt on Friday, Sept. 29th. The Orange Shirt recognizes the harm done to generations of children by the Indian Residential Schools and is an affirmation of our commitment to ensure that every child matters.
