The Department of Education and Early Childhood Development (EECD) is offering a free summer for students entering grade 10, 11 or 12 in the upcoming school year, or those who will graduate in June 2021. To be eligible, you need to be registered in a New Brunswick High School, in June of this year, in one of the four Anglophone districts. Please note students entering Grade 10 are only eligible to take Number, Relations, and Functions 10. This program will allow you to earn a mark that will be added to your regular school transcript.
Homestay parents are making a difference in the lives of international students. Through their roles as hosts, they contribute to the cultural and economic growth of our province. Each year over 800 students from more than 25 countries, between the ages of 12 and 18, apply for stays that vary in length from several weeks to a full school year. They come to study, improve their English, learn about Canadian culture, and develop friendships to last a life-time while living with New Brunswick families.
Every year students from all over the world choose New Brunswcik for a cultural and academic experience. Our school and homestary program is well-recognized and respected in NB and abroad.
Families- students will not be attending school on Monday, March 29th. This will be an operational day for our school and staff will be travelling to Shediac to receive their vaccinations.
The English Language Proficiency Assessment/Reassessment (ELPA/R) is normally administered during the high school exam period in January. This year, at the request of the school districts, it has been delayed and will be administered between April 19 and May 5.
