Heritage Fair 2019 took place this week at BLMS with our grade 9's. Pictured are some of the winners along with Flavien Babineau who along with Betty McLaughlin, Kevin Arseneau, Benoit Bourquie and Ashley Francis judged the projects this year. Many thanks as well to all of our sponsors; Kent Regional Service Commission, Minestream Milling, Main River Forestry, Bonnielm Farms, Southeastern Mutual Insurance, Village of Rexton, Moncton Area Milk Producers, Richibucto River Historical Society, Advance Savings Rexton. In total prizes were awarded in the amount of $500.
Parent/Teacher is tonight from 4:30-7pm and will resume tomorrow morning, Nov. 8th at 9-12pm. Report Cards can be picked up in the lobby and teachers will be in the cafeteria and gym to meet with parents.
Thank you to the four federal electoral candidates who came to a Q&A with students today: Jean-Marc Bélanger, Pat Finnigan, Nancy Mercier and Laura Reinsborough. This was great learning experience about political engagement.
Bengals softball team back in action after a 5 year hiatus! The girls play Wednesday and Thursday at the rexton ball field at 5pm! Also the Bengals Boys' Baseball team has made it to regionals. Come out and watch them this weekend at the Rexton Ball field.
School starts for grade 9's on September 3rd (for school supplies see below) and for grades 10, 11 and 12 on the 4th. Boomerang training day Thursday, August 29th - bring a lunch.
