Sat. April 13th (snow or shine) the 4th annual Breakfast and Yard Sale is happening from 8-11am. Breakfast is eggs, ham, sausage, toast, pan fries and homemade beans, juice, tea/coffee for a donation at the door. Anyone wishing to set up a table to sell their treasures, doors open at 7:ooam for exhibitors. There is no admission, so bring a friend and come out for a morning of socializing! There will be a variety of items as well as a bake table. All proceeds from the breakfast and bake table will go to support the Boys/Girls Track Team. Everyone is welcome
Saint Mary's University and the Canadian Whale Institute are holding a 10 day Marine Mammal Summer Camp for youth aged 14 - 17. Running from August 9 - 18th, the camp will operate in two locations - Saint Mary's University and Campobello Island. The total cost is $1500 and this covers accommodations, food, transportation and materials for the duration of the camp. Budding young marine researchers who may be interested can contact the website www.smu.ca/marinemammalcamp. Deadline for applications is April 19, 2013

Mid term report cards will be available to parents on Thursday, April 4th. Parent Teacher interviews are scheduled for Thursday April 4th from 4:00pm - 7:00pm and on Friday April 5th from 9:00am - 11:45am. We hope that you will join us to discuss your child's achievement. There will be no scheduled classes on April 5th.
We apologize for any inconvience that might have been caused with the glitch in our automatic dialer system yesterday. Most everyone received a call saying their son or daughter had missed school. As we all know technology is a great thing when it works but unfortunately our service provider ran into difficulties yesterday. BLMS is proud to present an evening of music, Thursday March 14th in the Theater at Bonar Law Memorial with local performers, Michelle Warren, Matt Arsenault, Chris Daigle, The Theriault Family, Valerie Thompson, Wayne Hebert and Josee Vautour. Admission is a "Give what you can" at the door. There will be a dessert intermission for a donation as well as a "Dinner for Two at Swiss Chalet" door prize. All proceeds go back to the theater for final upgrades. Doors open at 6:45pm..everyone is welcome.
