We would ask that any graduate who has received a letter of acceptance to a post-secondary program, please bring a copy of the letter to school. (This is critical information when the scholarship committee meets to disperse thousands of dollars).  Also, copies of any financial offers you may have received is required for the graduation program.  Please bring in your letters and we'll make a copy for you.

The Miramichi Kinsmen and Anglophone North School District are pleased to accept film entries for the Third Annual Kin Film Festival.  All students in ASD-N are invited to participate.  Students may submit films in one or both of the two categories.The first category is the Kin Category.  Films in this category will address the theme “Doing the Right Thing”.The second category is the Open Category.  Films of any genre or subject matter can be submitted to this category.The top films selected in each category will be screened.Also this year, Director Michel Guitar from the NB film Co-op will be

Summer soccer registrations will take place next Monday, May 6th and on Wednesday, May 8th from 6:00pm - 7:30pm both evenings.  Registrations will be held at Ecole Soliel Levant, Richibucto and Ecole Maree Montante in St. Louis. Registration forms are available at the main office.

BLMS Drama Presents "The Boardinghouse" - A comedy for the whole family!  Come and meet the quirky characters who live in the Boardinghouse! Drama performance this Thursday, Friday and Saturday - May 16th, 17th and 18th at 7pm each night in the BLMS theatre.  Ticket prices $5 for students and $7 for adults.

 As we move into the warmer days of May I want to remind all students of our dress code - which is available (for review) from each teacher.  Dresses and shorts - shorter than mid-thigh - are not acceptable for school.  Tops must cover from shoulder to waist (no bare midriff).  Any attire that is very lowcut or exposes undergarments is unacceptable for school. While many outfits are very cute ... they may not be acceptable for school.  It may be helpful to bring a change of clothing if you are in doubt about the suitability of an outfit.

We are happy to announce that Yordi Eric is this year's school nominee for the Turn Around Achievement Award.  Yordi will be recognized at a dinner at the Rodd Inn, Miramichi on May 27th. Congratulations to Yordi on this recognition from her teachers.

Bengals' Night Out   Bonar Law Memorial School is preparing for the 4th Annual "Bengals' Night Out".  The night will showcase a variety of musical talent on various instruments.  Headliner for the evening will be Bonar Law's Percussion Group - Bengal Beats.This is how the evening is shaping up:The first half of the show is filled with music being performed on acoustic guitar, bass guitar, the ukele, piano, etc.  It will be a mix of familiar tunes (a Beatles Medley, Train, The Black Keys) and songs the students have created themselves; guaranteed to put a smile on your face and get your toes ta
