Now that revising and editing processes are complete, it is time for you to publish your good copies. They are due at the beginning of class on Friday! Please do not forget to look at the "Presentation" portion of the rubric to ensure that your good copy meets all expectations!

You must come to class on Monday with the draft of your Introduction and Body completed so that we can focus on formatting our conclusions. Remember, we are still on the drafting stage; there will be plenty of opportunities to revise and edit to make your piece stronger before publishing. 

Use the checklist provided to you to ensure that your introduction and body are complete and properly structured. *Checklist is attached in case you've misplaced it.

Article of the Week #3 was given out today to all students. Students should work on the AOTW in shorter chunks throughout the week, and up to the due date on Friday, Feb. 9th at the beginning of class. 

*Grade 9- remember to read the instructions and complete all 3 steps! Do your best! Ask for study block pullouts; they are available for you! 

Attached are all 3 articles. If you've lost your article and need to reprint, be sure to choose the correct one (which is the one given to you in class).

Today you made your choice from the assignment matrix. Make sure to begin working on the assignment tonight! You need to get started right away so that if any questions or quandaries arise, you have time to see me or Ms. Little for help.

Merry Christmas, grade 9!

Remember that your second idependent novel must be read by the first day back to school on January 8, 2018! In class on Jan.8 you will be making your second choice from the Book Assignment Matrrix. Your book assignment will be due exactly one week later, on January 15, 2018.
