Each student will create a tri-fold pamphlet which showcases their knowledge and understanding of one of the following drugs on the teenage brain and body.
Your choices are Ecstasy,Ketamine, Meth, Cocaine and crack, Heroin, Marijuana (cannabis), Hash and Hash Oil
· Must include drug classification (depressant, stimulant, etc.)
· List physical effects & physiological effects
· Must include short-term & long-term effects
· Scientific name & Street names
· Medical use (if any)
· How it enters the body & different forms (example cocaine & crack cocaine)
· At least 3 different statistics
· Pictures, pictures, pictures!
This assignment is due Friday, January 19th.

This week we worked on the skills, knowledge and attitudes that are necessary for success in a variety of work roles and environments.
We also evaluated life/work information that would allow us to choose jobs that suit our temperment and experience.
Today, December 6th, we learned about the Employment Standards Act and what is required of employers when they hire students ages 16 and under. We also learned how to read the Hiring Demand Bulletin provided by the Government of New Brunswick website.
Later in the week, we will discuss the realities and requirements of various education, training, and work settings.
