Hello...sorry I haven't uploaded anything yet. Here is our week in a nutshell:
Sept. 24 Due: AOTW (250-350 words) marked for ideas and organization. WTF & FRIDTM of Poe's The Raven.
We will discuss AOTW tomorrow and Poe's poem.
Sept. 24-26 we will spend on analyzing poetry, working in-class on your poetry assignments, looking at literary essay writing, and oral presentation skills. During spare time, don't forget to WTF & FRIDTM all the poems in the packet.
Sept 27-new AOTW will be handed out and 1/2 reading period.
Monday, Sept. 30: Due: AOTW #2 and POETRY PRESENTATIONS!!!! (see attached)

Welcome to English 11-2!
You have a little formal essay to write for me tonight. This is so I can see your writing skills! It's a 300-400 word essay on how you can ensure your success in English 11-2 this year. Remember: it's formal--no contractions, personal pronouns, or slang. Also, include a thesis statement in your introduction, body paragraphs which support your points, and a conclusion. It's due tomorrow.
