We are excited about a change that we have made to the Teacher Website category this year for the 2014 CUTE Awards. We are asking students, parents or community members to nominate a teacher who effectively uses their teacher website to engage with the world outside their classroom.  These 29 students have signed up to be part of a week-long student cultural exchange that is federally funded by SEVEC.  They will be travelling to Victoria at the end of next week and will have the opportunity to share in the culture and history of Vancouver Island.  In April, we will be able to share our homes and culture with our "twins" from Victoria.

The Rexton Lions Club is a strong supporter of our students here at Bonar Law Memorial and we are happy to advertise their Annual Fundraiser taking place on Saturday, February 8th starting at 6pm with the dinner at 7pm. Tickets are $40 each and the grand prize is $1000. The Rexton Lions support many worthwhile causes in our area, please help them to continue their work. The Kent County Suicide Prevention Committee would like to inform you that a FREE SAFE Talk workshop will be given at the Bonar Law Memorial High School on Thursday, January 23 from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m in Room #111. The safeTALK training prepares anyone over the age of 15 to identify persons with thoughts of suicide and connect them to suicide first aid resources. Revised Exam Schedule has been posted in the document section or you can click this link. Please take note that exams start at 8:45am and 12:30pm each day.  http://bonarlaw.nbed.nb.ca/document/janurary-2014-exam-schedule   Please check to see if any of your exam times have changed. Exams run from Monday Jan 20th - Friday the 24th. Monday and Tueday Jan 27 & 28th are turn-a-round days for staff and there are no classes for students.  Semester 2 starts Wednesday Jan 29th.
