Beginning April 28th, Parents, Students and Visitors who arrive at BLMS after 8:30 am will have to be screened into the school by the Administration Office. How will this work? Well, when arriving to Bonar Law School, you will only get past the first set of doors. Then you will be directed by a sign on the next set of locked doors, asking you to push a button on the wall monitor and look toward the camera. Then wait until a voice from the administration office confirms who you are and reason for entering the school. Then the door will be unlocked (remotely) for you to enter.
All District Educational Staff will be involved in Professional Learning Activities on Thursday April 17th. Therefore, there will be no school for students on Thursday. Enjoy your extra long weekend!
The Grad Fundraiser held on the weekend was a huge success. The grads would like to thank their parents and family members for the support that was given and to the community members who came out and enjoyed a hot breakfast! $2140 was raised at the event, with $100 donation being made to the Rexton Lions Club from proceeds from the bake table. Wilma Poirier won the $194 50/50! Funds raised will go to offset the cost of graduation and prom expenses.
