Students will be working on the circle geometry unit. Students will be assigned homework practice frequently and will have assignments to complete. The final test will be during the week of May 27th. If students are struggling, they should see Ms. Wilson at lunch or attend a Math Pull-Out with Ms. Conroy.

Final project for the film unit is due April 29. Students will have 4 classroom periods to work on this project.

For the project, students must create a visual critique of a film. The project must include an analysis of the actors, special effects, values, target audience, and any product placement.

Students will be continuing to work on Unit 7 - solving problems using scale factors, similar polygones, and reflection/rotation of shapes. Students will be given text book questions for practice and worksheets for homework. The final test for the unit is planned for May 1st. Extra help is available for students at lunch every day at 12:30 for students who are struggling.

Students will be creating a review of special effects in a film. They must include examples of special effects, an overall rating of the film, and images and short film clips demonstrating how the special effects were made. ONLY SHORT WORDS OR PHRASES MAY BE INCLUDED ON THE SLIDES. 

**Students can work alone or in groups of 2. Students working alone need at least 5 slides. Students working in pairs need at least 10 slides.

This week we are starting Unit 4, Linear Relations. On Tuesday and Wednesday, students will be given textbook questions to work on for homework. On Thursday, they will have a worksheet. 

Students who miss time should see Ms. Wilson at lunch for extra help.

We will be finishing the Hamlet unit during the next two weeks. Students will be creating HOTS questions on Thursday, March 14 and be asked to participate in class-discussion on Friday. Students will also be required to complete a final project for the play and will have a final test. Although students will be given class time to work on their project, they are encouraged to work on their projects at home to ensure deadlines are met. Any students who misses time should see Ms. Wilson at lunch at 12:30 to catch up on work missed.

This week we are completing the equations and inequalities unit. There will be a quiz on Wednesday and a final test on Friday. Worksheet #8 is due Thursday. Extra help is available every day at 12:30.

We will be continuing our unit on films and special effects for the next two weeks. Students will be required to discuss and write about the special effects of their favorite movies. Class participation is key! If students are absent, they are responsible for catching up on missed work at lunchtime during the week.
