The varsity and JV boys basketball teams played the alumni players on Friday night and it was a huge success. The alumni led the entire game until the boys pulled out some great trick plays in the last quarter. "Ozone" and "Barking Dog" were both successful and "Hilmer's Lift" almost worked. The boys took their first lead with 6 seconds left and held on for the 85-83 win.

A big thank you to all the alumni, players, volunteers and fans.  Special thanks to James Mundle, Mike McNaughton & Cheryl Warman.

The boys travelled to Fredericton with only 7 players and finished 3rd.

Their first game was against a scrappy St. Mary's Academy from Edmundston.  They played well but could not hang on, losing by 16 points.  Player of the Game and leading scorer with 29 points was Logan Woodburn.

They played Oromocto High next and built a 20 point lead at one point in the game, but OHS clawed back and made it close.  The boys held on to beat them by 4 points.  Player of the Game was Steven MacDonald.

The boys had a 1-1 record and had to wait to see the result of another game before knowing if they had made the Bronze medal match.  They did make it and had to play Oromocto High once again with medals on the line.  The team came out slow and were losing 17-16 after the 1st quarter, but outscored OHS 20-9 in the 2nd quarter and never looked back.  Player of the Game was Croix Francis.  Logan Woodburn was named a Tournament All-Star.
