The boys played a great game last night and walked away with a 77-63 win. Player of the game was non other than co-captain Lee Scully with 14 points and numerous rebounds. The boys will travel to Moncton to play L'Odyssee tomorrow night at 6pm. This will be their final game of the season.

The boys and girls basketball teams will be hosting Blackville Feb. 1, starting at 5pm. The girls will play first and the boys will play right after at around 6:30pm. Come out and support the teams as they are starting to wind their season down. This will be the last home game for the boys, while the girls will host CNBA on Feb. 9, and Chipman Feb. 17.

The boys played Bathurst Saturday morning and walked away with a 71-40 win. Leading the way was player of the game Chris Fritz with 14 points, but Mike Mitton and Justin Cormier each had 12 points. After an hour rest the boys then played Sugarloaf and won 71-25. Player of the game was Justin Cormier this time. It was a great weekend and the boys won the tournament with a 3-0 record.

The boys played their first game of the tournament against ESN tonight and trailed by 4 points at the half. It wasn't until midway through the 4th quarter that the Bengals took the lead. After taking the lead for the first time, the Bengals didn't let go of it and went on to win 77-63. Player of the game was Janitzio Caravantes with 25 points. The boys will play BHS tomorrow morning at 10:45 and Sugarloaf High at 1:30pm.

The boys went to MFR and played last night. The final score was 83-39, and leading the way was Janitzio Caravantes with 25 points & Chris Fritz with 24 points. The boys travel to Bathurst Friday to play in thier tournament.

The boys had a tough loss to Peticodiac 61-53. The game was close for most of the game, but the Bengals were just not able to get the lead. Leading scorers were Lee Scully & Mike Mitton with 12 points each and Justin Cormier had 10pts. The boys will play MFR next Monday in St. Louis at 6pm.

The boys played against MFR Jan. 7th and came away with a big 86-46 win. It was the first time that Coach Woodburn can remember that every player on the team got at least 2 points. With 1:30 mins left to play Coach Woodburn called a timeout and drew up a play for Blaid Sanipass. The boys ran the play perfectly and Blaid scored his first basket of the night. Leading the way with 26 points for the Bengals was co-captain Lee Scully.
The boys next game is at home on Jan. 12, against Peticodiac.
