You missed a great game against SRS if you were not in the gym Dec. 21st!  The boys won 93-87, Logan scored 41 pts, with seven 3's and Charles added 33 pts.  Roan, Sam R. and Hilmer all played great defense to help with the win.  The win gives the boys a 6-1 record and 2nd place in the AA East Conference.

The boys played hard against Tantramar but lost 100-46.  Logan had 28 points and Charles another 11, and the team was missing a couple starters.  Even with a short bench, the team rallied and played hard against a bigger TRHS team.  Sam, Elias & Vlad stepped up playing big minutes.

It was a rough one in Shediac Wed night, but the boys clawed their way to a 69-61 victory in Shediac.  The referees were letting a lot of calls go and the boys had to play through some very rough play.  Charles had 24, Logan had 22 with Roan getting 11 points.  The boys host Tantramar on Monday at 7pm.

The Sunny Corner team came to play and it was a close 1st quarter but the Bengals held the NSER team to 8 points in the 2nd quarter and walked away with a 97-50 win.  Leading the way was Logan with 32 points, Charles had 28 and Roan was feeling it from the 3 point line and had 15 points.  Kaeden had his first buckets in high school with 5 points.  The boys travel to Shediac tomorrow night at 7pm.

The boys travelled to Miramichi and played the JMH JV boys team last night.  They walked away with a 73-50 win over the Tommies.  Logan had 18 points while Brayden added 12 and Sam with 10.  Charles had some unbelievable assists with 9 points of his own.  It was a great team effoert with everyone getting some minutes. 

The boys play NSER in Sunny Corner next Tuesday and then have their first home game next Wed, starting at 5:30pm.

The boys travelled to Shediac last night with a short bench and almost came away with a victory.  Losing to LJR 74-71 in a very close battle.  Leading the way was Logan Woodburn, Roan Fillmore & Charles Fajardo.  Jonny Boyd, Brayden Tibano, Himer Panes and Tanner Roberts all had the best games of their season.  Tanner got his first points with a couple of free throws in the 4th quarter.  Great game!

It was a full day of basketball on Saturday with the boys and girls playing Belleisle & Cambridge-Narrows.  The girls played Belleisle first and lost 61-15.  Leading scorer was Megan Peters with 7 points.  In their second game vs C-N they lost 65-14, with Jesse Paul & Clara Diaz each scoring 4 points.

The boys beat Belleisle 79-65, with Kallum picking up a personal best 34 points, while Logan had 17 points.  The game vs C-N was another victory for the boys even though Kallum mgot hurt in the 2nd quarter the team rallied and won 71-51.  Leading the way was Tanner Sock with 17 points and Logan with 13 points.  Roan Filmore had another great game with 4 3-pointers and some great defence.

Next week the boys go to Shediac Mon & host NSER Thur, with practice Wed.  The girls go to NSER Mon, JMA Wed, then C-N Fri & Belleisle Sat.  The full schedule is on the Athletics Calendar, under "Athletics Schedules".

The boys travelled to Sunny Corner and played a great game, while working on their new offence.  Leading the way with 17 points was Brayden Tibano!  Logan & Kallum followed up with 14 & 12 points.  

The girls hosted Moncton Christian and lost another one, but played their best game yet.

This Saturday is a big day with both teams playing Belleisle and Cambridge-Narrows at home.  The schedule for Saturday is:

Girls vs Belleisle - 10am

Boys vs Belleisle - noon

Girls vs C-N - 2pm

Boys vs C-N - 4pm

Games may start a little earlier than posted depending on the outcome of the previous game(s). Come out and watch the teams play, they would love your support and hear you cheer them on.

The girls had a home game vs Sunny Corner and lost, while the boys travelled to Peticodiac and played a hard game but ended up losing as well 73-58.  They both play again on Thursday night, the girls at home vs Moncton Christian and the boys travel to Sunny Corner.

The girls played hard and had fun but lost to JMA tonight 78-10.  Clara Diaz led the way with 4 points.  Their next game is Saturday in Peticodiac at 11am.

If you were not at the BLMS gym tonight you missed a great game with the Bengal boys beating the Caledonia Tigers 66-64.  The game came right down to the last second with Odin blocking a shot.  Kallum had 29 points, with Logan at 16 points and Charles with 14 points.  Roan again played some great defence and was great with the ball in the win.  The boys travel to Peticodiac on Nov. 7th.

The boys and girls travelled to Minto to play on Saturday.  The girls started things off and played well but lost 77-10.  Megan Peters lead the way with 5 points and Meke had 3points.

The boys played next and even though Kallum got into foul trouble and had to sit the entire 3rd quarter he still scored 31 points for the Bengals.  Charles had 19 and Tanner added another 11 points for one of his best games.  Leading the defence was Roan who made life extremely difficult for #13 on Minto & Logan who shut down Minto's top scorer (19 points) in the first three quarters, holding him to zero points in the 4th quarter.

The boys hosted MCS tonight and got a big 60-39 win.  Every player got playing time and Dixon Clair got his high school first points.  Leading the way was team captain, Kallum Fletcher with 26 points.  The boys travel to Minto with the girls team to play a double header on Saturday.  The girls play at 11am and the boys at 1pm.
