For those who have been absent due to illness, here are the chapter notes.  The assignments for each chapter are located at the end of the lesson.  You can also use your textbook, read through chapter 6 (starting on page332) - the first part of each chapter breaks down the work step by step.   Do what you can on your own, and plan to come in to extra help to catch up on the parts that are giving you difficulty. It should be noted that until this morning, we have only completed up to half-way through lesson 4, but I uploaded all the lessons in advance in case the cold and the flu going around keeps anyone else home in the future.

Here is the review correction for the questions preparing you for the chapter 5/6 test.  I appologize for not uploading it earlier.

Once you've completed your two webquest activities, please answer the following questions:1) Compare both of your results.     a) Are they the same? In your opinion, what might have led to variations in the results?     b) Which set of results do you feel best represents your personal footprint? Why?        (You can refer to them as test #1 and test #2 if that helps.)2) What factors/resources do you think were the most responsible for your results? (For example, do you think your footprint was most affected by the amount of kilometers your drive, the food you eat, the amount of land your house is on, etc...)3) Name 3 specific things you could do to lower your personal footprint (Hint: "I will drive less" is not a specific goal!).4) Do you think ecological footprint calculators are good tools for people to use when trying to determine their environmental impact, or are they confusing and perhaps even misleading?5) Go online and do a search for another ecological footprint calculator.    a) What site did you use? Write out the URL here.    b) How did this one compare to the ones assigned to you to try?

Hi guys - I've attached the webquest instructions for use in the computer lab today.  Print the form if you need to, or use it straight from the website. Make sure you follow the instructions carefully and print your results. Ask for help if you need it!
