Tahnee Simon and Whitney Dedam have been selected to attend the Eagle Spirit High Performance Camp at First People's House of MaGill University. May 22 - 24, 2010. They will be focusing on Health Careers and will be exposed to Faculties of Medicine, Dentistry and the School of Nursing. This promises to be a wonderful opportunity and we are confident that Tahnee and Whitney will make the most of this unique experience.
James Simon, (Grade 12), has been selected as one of the top four student athletes in the Western Conference of the NBIAA and will be receiving the "Ray Legere Sportsmanship Award" on May 19th at the Fifth Annual NBIAA Banquet in Fredericton. This award recognizes students who display outstanding sportsmanship towards their team-mates, coaches, opponents and game officials. Congratulations to James! It is good for all of us when we see Bengal Pride recognized at the provincial level.
Due to teachers meetings within School District 16 on Thursday and throughout the province on Friday, students will not have classes on either of those two days. Regular classes resume on Monday, May 10th.
