An evening of incredible musical talent here at BLMS! Please plan on coming out to our Bengal's Night Out happening April 29th, 30th and May 1st at 7:00pm in the BLMS Theatre. In support of Anti-Bullying Day many of our students wore pink shirts and for those who didn't have any pink, bandanas were passed out for students to wear around their wrists or attach to their clothing. Great support was shown by our students and staff!!
Grade 10 students spent Wednesday touring a hospital. There are 144 possible occupations and the staff was able to introduce us to many of them. The morgue, physio, ambulance, maintenance, x-ray, pharmacy and lab were some of the area we visited at the Miramichi Regional Hospital. The grade 10 students will be leaving BLMS at 8:15 on Wednesday, April 14th to travel to the Miramichi. They will spend the day touring the many departments of Region 7 Hospital. Lunch will be provided on site courtesy of the Hospital. We will be returning to the school by 3:15. Supporting staff will be Ms Conroy, Ms. Barlow, Ms Warman and Ms. McEachern.
On April 22 there will be an heritage fair from 9-11:30. There will be students with their projects on history and culture and also there will be singing, dancing, drumming and fashion show in BLMS cafeteria.
Report Cards will be available at the office on Thursday afternoon - after 4:15pm. Teachers will be available for Parent Teacher conferences on Thursday (April 8th) 4:30 - 7:30pm and Friday morning (April 9th) 9:00am - 11:45am
