The bus leaves the parking lot at 5:30 for anyone who wants a ride up to cheer at the awards ceremony Wednesday, February 16th.
A list of students currently in a position to graduate has been posted at the main office. Any student whose name does not appear on the list should check with the guidance office, asap. It is understood that potential graduate status is based on the fact that students pass all courses, currently on their schedule.
The Bonar Law PSSC group will hold their next meeting on Wednesday, February 9th @ 7:00pm in the Conference Room at the school. These are open meetings and the public is invited to attend.
Please be advised that students will be receiving their report cards today - Wednesday - February 2nd. While we do not host a formal parent teacher interview session at this time, parents are always encouraged and welcomed to visit the school and address any concerns with the administration and/or staff.
All textbooks that students are finished with at the end of the first semester must be returned to the library on the day of the examination or final class. Students should return each text before they make their way to the examination room. Dept of Education - Policy 132 article 6.1.2 .... "Such textbooks will remain the property of the Province and in the event that a pupil loses, destroys or mutilates such a textbook, the student's parents will be required to pay for or replace the textbook."
I am delighted to advise you that as part of the incentive program for our annual Christmas Food Drive, BLMS students have won several significant prizes from District 16 School Board in Miramichi.
