I am delighted to advise you that as part of the incentive program for our annual Christmas Food Drive, BLMS students have won several significant prizes from District 16 School Board in Miramichi.  Kelly Sawyer,  on behalf of BLMS,  was awarded the first prize of a "Single Morning Announcement Studio - valued at $4,000.00 and Cassandra Wrighton's  name was selected to win a Computer CODU upgrade including controllers for 10 computers - valued at $2,000.00  We are happy to have this additional technology available for all students at BLMS but more importantly our students contributed in a real and meaningful way to the less fortunate among the local community.  While it is always nice to win a prize, the real winners were the students and parents who contributed to the food drive and those people who require that type of assistance at this time in their life.
