Aren't you just soooo lucky?! Due to circumstances beyond my control, the schedule for tests and oral presentations has to be altered.
Period 3:
Oct 11: Turkey Bowl (I think!) If this gets cancelled, plan on your test!
Oct 12: Beowulf test (If not, your presentations begin!)
Oct 13: Presentations

Period 4:
Oct 11: Unit test
Oct 12: Anglo Saxon Poetry notes...finishing up the unit & beginning the next

Your unit test is divided as such:
Part I. Multiple Choice (about the plot & characters of Beowulf.)
Pt. II. Defining terms/giving examples/showing how the term fits into the text of Beowulf.
Pt. III. True or False about Anglo Saxons and Beowulf
Pt. IV. Fill in the blank terminology
Pt. V. Labelling kennings, etc.
Pt. VI. Explaining quotes & linking them to the text and Anglo Saxon values
Pt. VII. Short essay response.

Today we went over the Beowulf questions in class and the oral presentation skills needed to present your projects. Your projects are due on Oct. 11th. There will also be an upcoming test next week--probably Tuesday or Wednesday. Be prepared! Start studying now!!!
