'Transition to UNB' event at the Rodd Miramichi River in Miramichi on Feb. 9 at 7 p.m. The event, hosted by recruitment staff, will focus on the differences between high school and university; support services offered at UNB; tips for living in residence; and advice on how to succeed academically.
Parents and students of all ages are welcome.

Cartier Co-operative is happy to announce two scholarships, to honour Mr. Leon Daigle, who is a pioneer of the Co-operative movement in this region. A scholarship will be given to a graduate student of the Bonar Law Memorial School and also to a graduate student of Mgr-Marcel-François-Richard School.
ELIGIBILITY: In order to be eligible the candidates must meet the following conditions:
- Be a grade 12 student and have the possibility of graduating;
- Be accepted as a student in a post-secondary institution:
- The candidate or one of the parents must be a member in good standing of Cartier Co-op Ltd.
AMOUNT OF EACH SCHOLARSHIP:
$500.00 payable in two payments: one half of scholarship payable in September and the second half payable in March.
APPLICATION DATE:
All applications must be received by the General Manager of Cartier Co-op Ltd by 5:00pm on
May 4, 2017

Saint Mary's will be hosting a Next Steps Information Session at the Rodd Hotel in Miramichi on Feb. 13 at 7:00 pm.
The session will cover how to finance a university degree as well as other important information regarding residence and scholarship applications. They will be collecting updated transcripts from students who have already applied, as well as offer on the spot admissions with waived application fees for those who have not yet applied. Students can register for the event at connect.smu.ca/events.

Mount Allison will be offering a special shuttle service, with pick-up and drop-off from the Bathurst, Miramichi, Bouctouche, and Moncton regions for prospective students to spend a day at MtA!
You are encouraged to bring a Grade 11 transcript and a Grade 12 course list for
an on-the-spot admission assessment.

8:30 a.m.: Pick-up in Bathurst - Chaleur Library Region
9:30 a.m.: Pick-up in Miramichi - Newcastle Public Library
10:45 a.m.: Pick-up in Bouctouche - Gérald Leblanc Library
11:30 a.m.: Pick-up in Moncton - Bass Pro Shops, Dieppe
12:00 p.m.: Arrive in Sackville and enjoy a complimentary lunch at Jennings Dining Hall
1:00 p.m.: Campus tour
2:00 p.m.: Admissions meeting
2:30 p.m.: Attend a class
3:30 p.m.: Tour the Sackville Waterfowl Park and downtown Sackville
