This afternoon our students were given a one hour MADD multi-media presentation which challenges all of us to make decisions that won't harm ourselves or others. The graphic presentation was funded by the NB Liquor Corporation to the tune of $1000. We are grateful for their support as we highlight dangerous and risky behavior in an attempt to education all of us.
In keeping with the theme of healthy living - healthy choices - eat local .... we will be offering a free corn boil to our students at lunch time today. A small gesture to celebrate all we have to be thankful for and the wonderful country in which we live! Special thanks to Cheryl Warman and the Boomarang class for this initiative.
There are no scheduled classes on Monday October 10th as this is Thanksgiving Day. Hopefully you will have an opportunity to spend time with family and friends.
We are happy to advise you that students raised $1155 in the Terry Fox Walk this afternoon. Given that this is an added financial strain at this time, we consider this event a good success. Thanks to all who supported the effort and to Ms. Stacy Hudson and her Boomarang class who coordinated the activity.

We are looking for community/family pictures of those who have served in the army (any nationality) to include in our multi-media presentation for Remembrance Day. Ideally you could bring in pictures to the Digital Tech lab that are already scanned digitally; however, you can also bring in pictures and we will scan them and give them right back. It would be interesting if you had names and stories to go with the pictures as well.
