The Alzheimer's Walk " Making Memories Matter" Sunday,May 31st from 12-2pm at Bonar Law School Track, Rexton. Registration starts at 12 noon . In our small communities, most of us have a connection to this terrible disease.In New Brunswick there are 14,000 New Brunswickers living with Alzheimer's disease or a related dementia. Each day 7 New Brunswickers will be diagnosed with the disease. With your support, our community will be able to receive more support services, education and information, public awareness and advocacy, and Medic alert Safely Home.
BLMS would like to announce and congratulate Cheryl MacKinnon as this years' Turnaround Achievement Award Winner. Cheryl and her mother along with Ms. Davis, Mrs. K Halas Moulton, Mr. Lynch and Ms. Gallivan attended the ceremony in the Miramichi. Cheryl was nominated for her great personal growth by pushing herself outside her comfort zone. Congratulations Cheryl!

2015 Yearbooks can now be ordered at a cost of $40. Also, we have a supply of past year's for sale if you would like to replace one you lost or one you didn't have...cost depends on the year 2010 and below $10, 2011-2013 $20 and 2014 and up is $40. Students will have no school on April 30th and May 1st. Teachers are involved in NBTA AGM meetings on Thursday and will be attending Subject Council Workshops and Meetings on Friday throughtout the province.
Event takes place this Saturday, April 25th from 8-noon at the school. Breakfast is a goodwill offering at the door, admission is free and all proceeds from the breakfast and school's bake table go to our Class of 2015! Vendors will be set up in the foyer and everyone is welcome. If you still would like a table feel free to call the school at 523-7160! Parent Teacher Evening Thursday 4:30 -7:00 pm. Parents and
Guardians are encouraged to attend BLMS on Thursday to pick up report cards and
meet with your childs teachers. Collaborating with the school and teachers can help to
support a students academic success. Please pick up report cards at the front office and then proceed to the cafeteria and Gym to locate your childs teachers. Please keep meetings to a reasonable amount of time to allow all parents time with teachers. Hope to see everyone there!
