English 11-2 Essays

Your MLA essays are due on Friday, March 26th.  You must include 3 short quotes and 3 block quotes. Your Works cited page must list 4 sources (of which 2 must be books.) Last chance for extra help is at noon on Thursday!!!

Homework

11-2 English Tomorrow you should come to class prepared to work on the rough draft of your MLA essay. The rough draft is due on Monday.  Your essay should be between 800-1000 words.  You need to have it properly sourced and formatted.  (If in doubt, see your notes or go to the Owl of Purdue website to research MLA format.)  You should have a minimum of 3 short quotes (max. of 6).  You also need to have at least 3 block quotes (max. of 6).   12-2 English All 1982 Questions are due for tomorrow.  We will be discussing them in class.  Your homework for Friday (and the weekend) is to read 1988.  Have a great weekend!

English 11-2 You have projects due on Monday.  If you are not ready to present, points are deducted from your group.  The order of who goes first is through the "luck of the draw."   English 12-2 Read the article on Critical Thinking and paraphrase the important points.  Remember, this exercise is getting you to analyze, synthesize and evaluate!) Come to class on Monday ready to discuss the article and its main points.
