Media Studies 120 - We are looking at the history of advertising and the 8 stages. Tomorrow we will be attending a presentation on Immigration. Monday we will be starting the large end of semester project.
Business, Organization and Management 120 - We are moving on into Chapter 13 learning important information that will help us in the future. I am talking to the students about savings and investments. I will be introducing them to various savings and investment plans. They will be working together a lot in class and need to be here for the notes and instruction.
9 Social Studies - We studied WII, and Canadian involvement overseas, at lenght before the Christmas break. Now we will be exploring the impact that WWII had on the Canadian homefront at the time and how that impact has shaped our country into the future. Students will be tested heavily about this on the coming exam and MUST be present for instruction.
10 History - Before the break we finished with the Persian Wars of ancient Greece. We are now on to studying about the Classical Period or the Golden Age of Greece. We will also be taking a look at Alexander the Great and the Hellenistic Period on Friday. We are really picking up pace in order to get through Greece by the exam. Students NEED to be here in order to keep up to speed.
I hope you all enjoyed your holidays and have a wonderful/successful 2010 :)

Students of BOM 120 do not forget about the class debate being held tomorrow. You need to have your pro and anti labor union debate statements ready. Do forget to think about possible rebuttals! Remember that if you are not here you will be receiving a 0, unless you have a doctors note. DON'T LET YOUR TEAM MEMBERS DOWN!
