Grade 9 - Collection Book #2   Choose your favorite Canadian Landform Region and write a descriptive paragraph about it.   Imagine that you were there on vacation and you are now home describing it to a friend.  Use lots of descriptive words - paint a picture!!  (3/4) of a page   Regions: Canadian Sheild Appalachian Mountains Western Cordillera Innuitian Mountains Artic Lowlands Interior Plains Great Lakes - St. Lawrence Lowlands Hudson Bay Lowlands

Media Studies - Students are working on their final project (creating an ad campaign)  this is a huge project and students  will be working on it for the next 7 classes.  They will be presenting on the 20th and must be here.  This will be their final exam mark.  Students must be here as they are working in a group.   Business 120 - We are finishing up with chapter 13 today and tomorrow.  Students will have a QUIZ tomorrow.  Wednesday we will be welcoming a guest speaker into our class from the Credit Union.  For the rest of the week we will be learnig about credit.    Grade 9 Social Studies - We are looking at the Cold War, NATO and NORAD and the UN this week.  We are moving along quickly and students NEED to be here to stay caught up.  Students who are not in class for the lectures will likely have difficulty with the information.    Grade 10 History - We have a lot going on this week in class.  We will finish up with Greece by looking at Greek government and culture.  Students will be doing an indepedent study on Greek culture/society on Wednesday and must be present.  On Thursday and Friday this week we will be teaming up with the other grade 10 History class to do a workshop that will prepare us for the exam.  Students MUST be here!!
