Create your own sonnet. The subject of your sonnet is left to your discretion. It must be written in either Petrarchan, Shakespearean or Spenserian format. Try to write in iambic pentameter--at the least have 10 syllables per line. Use FRIDTM to analyze your own poem.

English 11-2 You have already written one quiz.  I've handed it back, so use it to study from.  You are going to have 2 more quizzes in lieu of a unit test on the Middle English poetry unit.  Study your notes about lyrics and popular ballads.  Study about the differences and similarities between AS and ME poetry.   English 12-2 Study your notes on the short story unit.  Be able to apply this knowledge to short stories.  Test coming...next week.
