Wednesday, November 2nd is Take Your Child to Work Day for students in grade 9! They were given permission slips to have signed and brought back to school. If your son/daughter is not going to work on Wednesday they are expected to be in school! This is not a "day off" for those that cannot find work placements! Student Demographic Forms were sent home and need returned to school asap! Media coverage forms as well are due in, without these your son/daugter will not be able to have pictures taken! Picture Day is Friday, Sept. 16th! Grade 9 students were given a permission for immunization form to be signed and returned, those need sent back asap as well! Graduates need to check appointment times for their grad pictures that will be taken all next week Sept. 19-23rd. Parents are welcome to come in with their grad student to help pick proofs. Please be on time!
Tuesday, Septmber 6th is Boomerang day for all new grade 9 students. A free spaghetti lunch will be available. All other students will begin on Wednesday, September 7th. Student schedules can be picked up when you arrive on Wednesday morning. BLMS student fee is $30 for one child or $50 for two or more children in the same family. School hours are 8:30 am until 3:25 pm.
With the current season starting this fall, if there is anyone interested in coaching the boys basketball team please contact Rob Woodburn at 523-7160. Policy 701 and a Criminal Check is a requirement for volunteers.
