The Mary Majka Scholarship Fund was established with the intent to further youth engagement with nature and our natural heritage.  This scholarship is open to New Brunswick students from middle school to those attending an undergraduate program. Awards will be granted on a yearly basis ranging from $250 to $1000. Deadline is March 31st.


Two types of scholarships are available:


1) Awarded to a person that is or will be studying in the field of natural sciences with an interest in nature and the environment (awarded as a study scholarship)


2) Awarded to a youth wanting to further their knowledge in the natural sciences (awarded as a contribution to cover specific expenses such as for workshop participation).

The Winter Open House is a great opportunity for students to not only see campus, but also to attend informative workshops regarding appling for major scholarships and bursaries.  

In addition, attendees will be able to sit in on a sample class, attend a panel with current students and faculty, apply on the spot for free, participate in a guided tour of campus, try a meal in the dining hall, and learn more about student life.  

Please note that the scholarship and bursary application deadline is March 1, 2018.

Monday, Feb. 12 at 7:00 pm at Crowne Plaza, Moncton.  

Interested Grade 12 students can have their application assessed at the event.  They ask thay you arrive by 6:30 pm and have already applied online (Apply.unb.ca) at least 24 hours before the event.  Students need to bring their high school transcipt and application fee ($65) if they have not already paid online.  

Students and parents can register at unb.ca/recruitment.
