One scholarship per region valued at $1000 each are available annually for full time attendance at a post-secondary institution, University or College.

NBTA Branch 1640 offers two scholarships to two graduates each year. The amount of each scholarship is $200.00.  If there is only one applicant he/she will receive $400.00. The scholarship is open to all students but preference is given to children of NBTA Branch 1640 members regardless of the school they attend.

This summer, 24 young women and 24 young men entering Grade 10 high school (or secondary 4 in Quebec) from across Canada will gather in Cornwall, Ontario. Their mission: one week of learning, fun and friendship with a focus on aviation. This all-expenses-paid camp uses hands-on learning to give you the chance to explore exciting careers that will empower you to soar to success after graduation!  

Who can apply:​Teens going into Grade​​ 10 or secondary 4 in September 2019
​Where:​NAV CENTRE, Cornwall, ON, with day trips to Montreal and Ottawa
​When:​Young women: July 14-19, 2019
Young men:​ August 11-16, 2019
​Cost:​No cost to you! It’s paid for by a NAV CANADA bursary, which includes flight, room and board for the week

National Youth Engagement Week is a unique opportunity to experience five days at Depot, the RCMP's training academy in Regina. A select group of Grade 12 students from across Canada will experience what it's like to be a cadet in training.

If chosen, you will get the opportunity to interact with police officers from various RCMP units. Activities may include a fitness session, drill class, driving simulation, police defensive tactics, a tour of the RCMP Heritage Centre and much more.

When: March 25-29, 2019         Location: RCMP Depot Division in Regina, Saskatchewan

Cost: FREE! Travel, accommodation and meals will be provided by the RCMP.

To be considered, you must:

Be interested in a law enforcement career

Be a Grade 12 student

Be proficient in English and/or French

Live in Canada

Due Date: Jan. 31st
