Provincial Wrestling Championship Results

Our Bonar Law Wrestling Team had impressive results. The Girls Team placed 3rd overall out of 13 teams. The Provincial Wrestling Champions for this year were: Brodie Theriault who was Gold Medalist in the 61kg weight category, Bailey Theriault was Gold Medalist in the 66kg weight category and Tiffany Hibbert captured Gold in the 51kg weight category. Jenna Betts is the Provincial Silver Medalist in the 60kg weight class and Kristen Scully is the Provincial Bronze Medalist, also in the 60kg weight category. Rachel Lawson placed 4th in the 55kg  weight category. All of the individual wrestlers competed extremely well. Congratulations!Brodie, Bailey, Kristen, Tiffany and Jenna will be competing in the Canadian National Wrestling Championships which will be held in Fredericton, NB - April 12-15th.

Wrestling Tournament in Oromocto Feb. 11th

Tournament is at Oromocto High School Start time: 10 am  Wrestlers need to be there by 9:30 am There will be a canteen. Wrestlers attending need to see Mr. Scully re transportation to and from the tournament.

Verbeek Camp 2011 hosted by SSWC (November 11-13

Friday Nov. 11th  Session #2: 6:00 – 7:30 Saturday Nov. 12th Session #3: 8:30 – 10:30 Session #4: 12:00 – 1:30 Session #5: 3:30 – 5:30 Sunday Nov. 13th Session #6: 8:30 – 11:00 Open Mat (If you want to arrange matches or 1 – 2min goes..?? the mats will be available. If you want to head out on Saturday night, we are finished at 5:30 to enable you to do so) Cost: $60 (checks made payable to Lutte NB Wrestling) Coaches Free Location: SSHS Motel: St. Andrews Motor Inn: 6 rms available ($74.95 + tax) Pool Fairmont Algonquin, St. Andrews $99 + tax I have permission for teams to sleep in the gym. There is a hockey tournament in town (so no motel rooms sorry)
