The topics covered in the quiz are taken from the in-class assignment we've worked on this week. 1)variables and relationships       -independent, dependent and controlled variables 2)significant digits 3)Calculating with Appropriate Precision  *remember the rules: When you add or subtract your answer can only have the same number of decimal places as the number with the smallest amount of decimal places in the question. When you divide or multiply your answer can only have the same number of significant digits asn the number with the smallest number of significant digits in the question. 4)Measures of central tendency - mean, median, mode, range, outliers 5)Stem and Leaf Plots If you have any questions on these topics come see me at lunch time today or Monday.   If you are absent for the quiz on Monday you will write Tuesday at 12:10.
