Course updates

First of all - I have many students with outstanding assignments.  This means many of you have yet to hand in assignments, some dating from many weeks ago.  This is not an acceptable practice.  All assignments must be completed in order to receive a credit, though you continue to lose marks the later you hand them in.  Following is a list of course topics being covered this week, as well as common missing assignments:   Biology 122:  We have completed the nervous system and have begun working on the endocrine system (chapter 39 in your textbook).  There are no missing assignments in this course.  Good work everyone!   Science 10 FI:  We have completed our study of motion graphs and have moved on to work with motion equations, specifically re-arranging equations.  We will also be studying the effects of free-fall, gravity and terminal velocity in the comming week.  Missing assignments include the first velocity-time graph assignent and the comparative displacement-time and velocity-time graph assignments.  We will be having a quiz on Thursday on the equation work completed this week.   Biology 112:  We continue our exploration into the animal kingdom, finishing mollusks today and begining arthropods.  Common missing assignments include the worksheet on Phyla Porifera and Cnideria, and also the worksheet on Phyla Platyhelminthes, Nematoda and Annelida.  I need those before Christmas break.  Another assignment will be handed out tomorrow on Phyla Mollusca and Arthropoda.  Make sure you're in class to receive it, it is also due before Christmas break.   Theatre Arts:  Play #2 presentations take place Wednesday and Thursday of this week.  There are many "movie analyssis" assignments missing, as well as the "Talk Back" assignment related to the play in which you are performing.  If you weren't in class those days, the assignments still need to be completed before Christmas break if you wish to be able to get a passing mark.  Remember - there is no exam, so every assignment counts extra (no exam to save you at the end).   If there are any questions, or anyone wishes to come in for extra help, please see me in class.
