Our English 111 class will be hosting Jacob Deng, one of the "lost boys of Sudan", on Tuesday, December 4th @ 8:45am in the school theatre.  Students have been studying the novel, "A Hare in the Elephant's Trunk" which outlines the life story of the young men of Sudan and the challenges they faced during the civil war in that country.  This presentation promises to be an insightful window into the life of people who experience the horror of war as well as a testimony to the strength of the human spirit.
