Math 110:Monday, Apr 13 - We went through the questions together on page 268 and 268, and then did pg 270 1-8 and pg 272 2, 3, 5, 6Tuesday, Apr 14 and Wednesday Apr 15 - Chapter 6 worksheet and 6.1 Extra practiceThursday, Apr 16 - 6.2 Slope and Angle of Elevation, working on pages 274-277.  Pg 278 questions 1-5Friday, Apr 17 - Work Day.  Can work on anything outstanding from this week, or from last week. (Apr 9 was pg 260 questions 1-13, and Apr 10 was pg 266 questions 1-9).  All outstanding work for this unit is due today. Math 9:We started unit 7, Similarities and TransformationsMonday, Apr 13 - reviewed the properities of isosceles triangles, learned about corresponding lengths and scale factors.  Worked on questions 4, 5, 7, 8, 11 and 14 on page 323Tuesday, Apr 15 - How to find the missing number in a proportion - Proportion worksheet Wednesday, Apr 14 - scale diagrams and reductions.  Pg 329, questions 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 12, 14, 20Thursday, Apr 15 - similar polygons. Math 110 - exploded view diagrams - pg 93 and 95Math 9 - open-book quiz - pg 286, questions 1-8Science 9 - talked about cells (section 10.5), and did a demonstration on cells in a series and cells in parallel.  Hand in the circuit diagrams from the demonstration, as well as answer these three questions:1. What happens to the total voltage of a battery when the cells are connected in series?2. What happens to the total voltage of a battery when the cells are connected in parallel with one another?3. Math 110 - Today we looked at isometric views of objects (3D drawings).  We did questions 1, 2, 3, 4, and 6 on page 81.Math 9 - We reviewed yesterday's questions, and practiced some questions on 6.2 - solving equations by using balance strategies.  We did questions 4, 6, 8, and 10.Science 9 - We did the simple electrical circuits lab.  Short lab is due by tomorrow, and the long version of the lab is due by Monday.  (The procedure for the lab, as well as photos and the questions to be answered can be found in the class file on the G drive.)BBT 9 - last day for working on powerpoint.  Code.org for those who finished.

Math 110 - Started a new section - Pg 58 questions 1-7Math 9 - Started unit 6 - questions pg 271 5-10Science 9 - for homework answer: 1.A) Why do we use the term ‘static’ electricity? B) Give an example to explain. 2.A) What is the law of electric charges?  B) How could you demonstrate this? 3.Draw a diagram showing the structure of an atom.  Indicate the charge on each of the particles in the atom. BBT 9 - The powerpoint unit will be finishing up this week.

Here's what you can work on during the storm day:Math 110 - we will do the review tomorrow for the test on Friday.  Practice some questions from your book on finding the missing side or missing angle using your trig ratios.  Make sure you're comfortable knowing which ratio is used when.Math 9 - finish the review questions on the next page, 203.Science 9 - If you didn't finish your review questions in class, finsh them at home.  We will review the answers in class tomorrow.BBT 9 - pick a topic for your own powerpoint.  The powerpoint unit should be finished this week.
