We want to welcome our exchange students from Dauphin, Manitoba who will be spending the week travelling, sight seeing and taking in the culture of our area.
Orange Shirt Day September 30th. In recognition of this day, BLMS students and staff are asked to wear an orange shirt on Friday, Sept. 29th. The Orange Shirt recognizes the harm done to generations of children by the Indian Residential Schools and is an affirmation of our commitment to ensure that every child matters.
Students will be released at 11:50 to allow staff to participate in the Professional Learning sessions in the afternoon. Please be aware that students will have 5 condensed classes in the morning.
All grade 9 students will begin school on Tuesday , Sept 5th. This is an introductory (Boomerang ) day for all new students in grade 9. A free lunch will be provided.
All other students in grades 10-12 begin school on Wednesday, Sept 6th.
April 8th BLMS hosted a Buick test drive event. For everyone who test drove a car we earned $20 for our school. Thank you for this generous donation Rallye Motors and Buick!
