Any Grade 10 or 11 student who is interested in attending a summer leadership camp at Mount Allison University, sponsored by the Royal Canadian Legion is encouraged to drop by the Guidance office for information. The camp runs from July 4 - 11 and is designed to teach leadership and organization, through sports and activities. See Ms. McEachern for more details.
The BLMS Home & School is hosting a Prom Dress Sale on Saturday, March 13th from 10am-3pm at the school. Anyone interested in selling a dress or prom accessories can leave it at the school with their name, phone number and the price you are asking. As well, anyone wishing to donate or knows someone who wants to sell or donate a dress in your community please feel free to pass the word on and drop the dresses off at BLMS, ask for Cheryl Warman at the school.

Applications are now open for any student who is interested in applying to take part in the Summer Camp in China - 2010. The Camp will take place from approximately July 1 - 17th, 2010. Any student who has hosted or been directly involved in supporting the Chinese student program at BLMS and has positive academic, social and behavorial involvement in the school should see the Principal for an application form. Deadline for applications is March 8th.

The Lady Bengals defeated Moncton Christian Academy Monday night by a score of 52-28 in Moncton. Leading scorers for the girls were Schyler Campbell and Maisie McNaughton with 10. With the win the girls conclude the regular season with a record of 10 wins and 2 losses and finish in first place in the Eastern Conference. This weekend the girls will travel to Dalhousie for the Provinicial Regional Tournament and will play UMRHS Friday afternoon at 4:15pm. Congratulations Lady Bengals!
Ten students from Bonar Law Memorial and EWG Middle School display their art work at the Rexton Curling Club. This is a great opportunity for the public to see what talented young artists we have in the area and a wonderful chance for our students to show off their gift. Only the English Provincial Writing Assessment will be held on Friday, January 22nd. The Reading assessment has been rescheduled for March. Classes will continue as usual next Thursday. All grade 9's will be writing on this date as well as any other students who have not yet been successful in passing the writing portion of the exam. Successful completion of this assessment is required for graduation.
