Artist in Residency - Sandra Racine

BLMS is thrilled to have Sandra Racine through the Artist in Residency School Program sponsored by the Department of Education and Early Childhood Development, Tourism and Heritage and Culture. Sandra is a graduate of the NB College of Craft and Design and was awarded the Gwen Bear Memorial Award for highest GPA and Best AVA Design. She is also the BMO First Art National Competition for NB winner. Sandra resides in Oromocto with her husband and son but is orginally a member of the Elsipogtog First Nation. Her baskets were part of the Beaverbrook Art Gallery Graduates Exhibit and her work was displayed at the Atlantic Craft and Trade Show where she won honorable mention, a new category. Mrs. Racine is with us at BLMS for the week of Dec 1-5th and will take part in our Heritage Day on Wednesday, Dec. 3rd.
