For the past 7 years JEDI and Brun-Way Highway Operations have collaborated to provide two bursaries for Aboriginal students enrolled in post-secondary education. The bursaries are intended to help support Aboriginal students in reaching their academic goals and future success.
To be eligible:
- You must be a full-time Aboriginal student,
- Reside in New Brunswick,
- Provide proof of post-secondary institution enrollment - preference may be given to those enrolled in a University Degree program due to the depth of commitment and expense involved,
- Provide a copy of an up-to-date resume,
- Applicants must write a 500-1000 word essay that expresses:
- financial need,
- objectives,
- future goals and aspirations,
- commitment to education,
- volunteer experience,
- desire to help NB First Nations’ communities thrive.
