Winter Carnival for Syrian Refugees

The BLMS World Issues class will be hosting a Winter Carnival here at Bonar Law from 4-8 Friday, December 11th from 4-8.  All proceeds from the fair will go towards helping Syrian refugees resettle in New Brunswick.  Activities include pony rides, face painting and games. There will be live music with Jesse Cox, Holly Jane Sock and Madison Girvan.  Students have created a holiday card that shows them linking hands between Canada and Syria which will be available for sale.  There will also be a bake table, crafts for sale, a basket and bench to won, door prizes and a 50/50 draw. Food table will have hambugers, hot dogs, chilli, seafood chowder, chips and pop.
