The Boys basketball team travelled to Salisbury last night to play their first game of the season.  The Bengals found themselves down by 15 points at the half but managed to chip away and take the lead with 4 minutes left in the game.  Unfortunately the Bengals were unable to hold onto the lead and the JMA Cougers went on to win the game 87-76.   The Benglas were led by Tyler Augustine scoring 25 points, while Dalton Thompson added 19 points & Evan Grant 15 points.  Other strong performance were from James Simon, who led all players in rebounds & Lance Augustine with 5 steals.  Francis LeBlanc scored his first points as a Bengal on his first shot in the 2nd period.   The Boys will be traveling to Cambridge-Narrows on Friday and Belleisle Saturday.  Their first home game will be Monday, Nov. 30 at 5:30pm.  The cost is only $2, so come out and support the Bengals as they take on the Caledonia Tigers.
