This week we will mostly be working on MyBlueprint and answering questions about your personality and likes and dislikes so the program can match you up with careers you might find intersting or be good at (hopefully both).
We also need to update our bulletinboard in the hallway with some new "stuff"!
Remember to bring ideas of some things you would like to discuss this term.

WooHoo. Some of you have been waiting all year for this class to start. ME TOO! Monday you will get your workbook and we will start right in on Unit One. Bring your thinking cap - by the end of the week I want you to have an idea (or maybe two) of what type of venture you would like to do your business plan on. SO MANY CHOICES!

This week we start "The Business Environment". There are six sectors to look at so it is important you are in class to get all the information, the notes, the assignment and of course you want in on all the great discussions we will be having. We have a couple really awesome videos of Bombardier to watch as well as a couple others. Don't miss it.

This week we will be studying and working on lots of great stuff. We will be getting set up with online folders and looking at organization techniques for saving our work where we can find it, work on proofreading "before" printing and getting a general look at how the class will function over the next few months.
We will also take a look at copyright and plagiarism. Two important topics students tend to overlook!
Info Tech is period one so don't be late for school! All work is done in class so you need to be there!

This week is super important - please make sure you are in class every day!
Monday we are starting class with a quiz - don't worry I am going to give you the answers when we finish! I am testing your knowledge of drug-impaired driving. (Did you know there are new laws taking effect on Tuesday of this week?)
Tuesday we have a presentation on Mental Health in the theatre. (Bring your best behaviour please.)
Wednesday we will discuss Tuesday's presentation and then we will look at questions from your exit slips after Monday's class.
Thursday and Friday we will continue with laws and penalties surrounding impaired driving and look at different laws, rules and regulations surrounding all of the changes in the last few months. It is going to be a interesting week!

The end is in sight!
We will be working on final projects all week. Make sure you are in class and ready to roll when the bell rings! Lots and lots to finish up this week.

Hello yogis! This week is chalk full of fun stuff.
Monday & Tuesday we work on building our school community by helping out with the free Christmas dinner for students and staff on Tuesday. No worries, only half of you will be helping out on Monday - the other half will help out on Tuesday. If you are not helping you will be in the lab working on your final yoga presentation.
Wednesday is daycare day! Always lots of fun.
Thursday we will be in the gym for physical practice.
Friday I think administration has an early morning treat planned then we will be in the gym. (bring sneakers)

Monday and Tuesday are catch up days for anyone who is missing assignments from Chapter 14 or publisher assignments.
Wednesday to Friday we will focus on final assignments in Microsoft Office.

Friday we will be doing something in the classroom. Finishing up assignments, guided meditation and going over the final project rubric and my expectations.
